The three-way VT-2 Audio/Video tower is a deceptively large speaker. Within the 8" wide cabinet are two separate chambers. The upper-range driver array is housed in a sealed enclosure, while the balance of the cabinet volume is devoted to the 10", high excursion, side-loaded woofer. The VT-2 is a full range system with bass response down to a room-shaking 25Hz.

A front mounted A/V switch enables the user to optimize the performance of the loudspeaker for either music or home theater sound reproduction. The "Audio" mode provides precise imaging characteristics required for stereo music playback. The "Video" mode provides a broadened image and soundstage that mimics the playback of a movie theater. The VT-2 can be biamplified with an SA-3 amplifier.
