NHT B-Stock products are factory seconds in very good condition, fully tested and fully up original specifications. They come from customer returns, tradeshow samples, QC samples, showroom samples, photo samples and service center assembled from available parts inventory. Sometimes they will have a very slight cabinet blemish but in no cases will they have any bare wood shown. They are offered with full manufacture warranty.

The Classic Twelve subwoofer is designed for medium to large rooms. Despite its high output capability perfect for home theater, the Twelve remains clean and musical no matter what the source is. It has a practical feature set that makes connection to your system a simple task. The Twelve also has controls that adjust phase and equalization for almost any room placement assuring proper response.

This subwoofer uses a 12” aluminum cone woofer and a massive motor structure that keeps the driver cool and distortion-free even during the most demanding soundtracks. Driven by a 250 Watt, Class G amplifier, the Twelve has line and speaker level inputs, plus LFE in and through.

The Twelve is housed in a high-gloss, piano-black cabinet, designed to match the rest of the Classic Series. Sold individually.

Not Until The Twelve

I never thought I needed a subwoofer. I have a pretty good pair of main speakers, large bookshelf, dual 6.5" woofer/midranges with solid thumping bass. but on movie playback and some music there were definite limitations. then I heard a friend's home system and I had to find out about the bass. His basement is a home theatre and his speaker complement is all NHT. I was blown away, almost literally. I went out and auditioned as many subs as I could and found none as good as what I heard that night so......... I obtained the 12 online and set it up and thankfully, it is tuneable with such extensive flexibility and ease, that I was in a short time just re-listening to my favorite music and watching some high impact cinema.What a difference! The 12 brought everything to life, no exaggeration. percussion had impact like never before, no smudging the attack or muffling the timbre or humming or rumbling. all the music, especially live recordings, had a more realistic sound. movies, especially the blockbuster-type, high explosive, planet-shaking special effects, were now sounding much more like the theatre. No kidding. I never believed that much was missing. I'll say for the record that I have not tried the sub's upper volume limits. I never needed to. it really delivers. Try the hyperspace jump in the latest STAR TREK and you'll know what I mean.I have to recommend this sub as better than any under $1500 which was my maximum limit at the time. I lietened to too many to list and will say unequivocably that the twelve beat every other sub that I auditioned.
