I have these speaker for L/C/R in my home theater and music setup. I always keep coming back to NHT for the performance, value and excellent engineering. Its quite powerful and easily meet home theater demands of high SPL. I have tried many other speakers and auditioned them, but nothing seems as accurate as the NHTs. .I also have absolute towers and C4.

how many will i need for a home cinema setup. do you think 3 will be enough ? 

Just received mine a few days ago after upgrading from my classic C3 and all I can say is that I'm happy I did. This speaker sound absolutely awesome with great clarity and detail and can take a lot of power. I currently run all  NHT speakers (Classic Series) in my home setup and have always received compliments but the addition of this speaker has greatly improved my overall sound much more than I expected. Having owned many speakers in the past both expensive and budget friendly from numerous manufactures  for me NHT has been by far the most impressive both from a cost and sound perspective. The fact this this speaker can also be used as a front L/R offers great flexibility. 

Replaced my old VS1 center channel for my HT.  Wow, the range this has over my older center channel is just amazing.  Very nice build quality.  I don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase.  Tones are amazing!

Purchased to upgrade my Two C center channel, which was quite good, but this is on another level. Right out of the box, there was more presence, authority and a complete absence of strain at high levels. Very nice and massive build, extremely solid and low resonance cabinet.
